In the third webinar in the series of BD Multi-Omics user day presentations, Miha Kosmac of Kymab, Cambridge, UK presents how the BD Rhapsody™ system was used to successfully perform translational immunotyping of matched PBMC and tumor cells. The data presented shows that patterns of inducible co-stimulator (ICOS) expression on different immune cells in these human samples was as previously observed in pre-clinical models. Miha concludes that BD™ AbSeq data could help explain certain discrepancies in the expression levels of certain genes between FACS and mRNA sequencing experiments. In addition, BD™ Abseq could help in providing a catalog of mRNA gene expression in different cell types and in explaining their actual populations.
Miha Kosmac’s results will soon be appearing in press pre-print.
