The BD OptiBuild™ portfolio offers a wide range of dye-antibody combinations, allowing researchers to design sophisticated panels with minimum delay. However, once a panel is designed, the optimal concentration of the reagent for your specific sample needs to be established. To get the best results from a 50 µg reagent vial, a titration series of at least six points should be made, starting from 1 µg and diluting downwards. Each titration point can be added to a flow tube containing cells, and the samples run through a flow cytometer for data collection. The optimal concentration for the sample can then be determined by analysing the data for each dilution point.
